Self-esteem is defined as how we view and think about ourselves. It is the value that we place on ourselves as a person. Relationships, work, school, sport and many other different situations can all positively or negatively influence our self esteem. If we start to place a negative values on ourselves this is when we can start to experience problems linked to our self esteem.

Within this training plan we want to help you to learn more about what is low self esteem and how it impacts our thoughts, emotions, behaviour and performance. We will look at 2 different strategies which you can start to use to challenge negative predictions and a negative view which you might be holding of yourself.
