Cherokee Washington

Cherokee Washington is a recent graduate from Whitman College, where she earned degrees in rhetoric and psychology. A four year varsity athlete, she was a member of the Whitman women’s volleyball team, training with four time olympian Logan Tom, USC libero Natalie Hagglund, USA national team setter Courtney Thompson, indoor volleyball legend Gary Soto, and other coaches throughout her career. Currently, Cherokee is pursuing a Master’s and PhD in sport psychology, hoping to become a professional within the field focusing on aspects of mental training rooted in cultural communication. Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Cherokee is an avid beach volleyball player, hiker, photographer, and artist.
